OUR STORY

Our church began in March of 1996 as a private prayer meeting held in a home on Catawba Island with a handful of people. It quickly developed into a Bible study/share group which continued until July 1998.

In July 1998, a small storefront (pictured right) was renovated and a revival meeting was held for the beginning services.  The church was called "Pilgrim Chapel", and supply preachers and speakers were used until June of 2000 when Pastor Fourman came to be our first, full-time minister.  At that time, we joined The Bible Methodist Connection of Churches - Heartland Conference (Biblemethodist.org). We worshipped in this building until March 2003.

Due to growth, we moved to another facility which was twice the size of our first location.  We quickly outgrew that facility, also, and God provided us an opportunity to buy a local union hall on Maple Street in May of 2004.

In August 2004, after having renovated the union hall, we moved to our current location at 150 Maple Street, where we continue to worship every Sunday and Wednesday.
